Jim Colwill, DVM, Long Beach Veterinarian

Doctor Colwill was born in southern California and raised outside Philadelphia. He moved to Long Beach for his undergraduate studies and attended both Long Beach City College and Cal State Long Beach. He moved back to the east coast for vet school, completing his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. The sunny skies of SoCal called him back to Long Beach! He completed an internship at Animal Emergency and Referral Center in Torrance with a heavy focus on emergency medicine.

Doctor Colwill enjoys urgent and emergent medicine and the human animal bond. In his free time he enjoys SCUBA diving and photography. He is excited to introduce his team to the community and show Long Beach how much we care about your pets.
